13 HOURS: THE SECRET SOLDIERS OF BENGHAZI
“TO PROTECT CIA OUTPOSTS AND PERSONNEL IN UNSTABLE REGIONS THE AGENCY EMPLOYS ELITE EX-MILITARY OPERATORS. IN 2012 THE THREAT LEVEL IN BENGHAZI, LIBIA WAS DEEMED CRITICAL”
The films claims it’s “a true story”. I watched this very closely when it happened in 2012 and it does dove tail with some of the previous information we received. It was extremely interesting to watch. Be aware: Given the amount of shooting/killing it may be hard for some to watch!
Nonetheless I strongly believe this is a story we all should be aware of. It’s a scar on our country that should never have happened.
In case you’re wondering there are no inferences to “lost emails” anywhere in the film. It’s a film version of a documentary describing how things went down on the ground.
It’s slow passed in the beginning, however when it starts up you’ll know it by the rise in BP and breathing along with being on the edge of your seat.
Regardless of your political affiliation Michael Bay (director) knocks this out-of-the-park for action, special effects and cinematography.
Obviously there are some exaggerations in the shooting of this film, however it is really breathtaking. It does a good job of capturing the struggles and action in a nutshell
Definitely one to watch!
