A Simple Favor, directed by Paul Feig, centers around Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a mommy blogger who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily's (Blake Lively) sudden disappearance from their small town. Stephanie is joined by Emily's husband Sean (Henry Golding) in this thriller filled with twists and betrayals, secrets and revelations, love and loyalty, murder and revenge.

The film was released in the United States on September 14, 2018, by Lionsgate. The film received generally favorable reviews from critics, with praise for the plot twists and performances of Kendrick and Lively.

This is one of those movies that you go in wondering what this is about and you come out knowing that you just watched an amazing, well scripted story with a phenomenal cast.

It starts out very quirky and you begin to think you have made a mistake, then all of a sudden it changes dramatically and the hunt is on for Stephanie (Kendrick) to find her best friend Emily (Lively). Lots of twist and turns that will keep you guessing right up to the very end.

Throughly enjoyed the movie and couldn’t stop thinking about the movie “Gone Girl” while I was watching this.
