Based on the same-titled best-seller by Liane Moriarty, "Big Little Lies" weaves a darkly comedic tale of murder and mischief in the tranquil beachfront town of Monterey, Calif. Amidst doting moms, successful husbands, beautiful children, and stunning homes exists a community fueled by rumors and divided into haves and have-nots, exposing fractured relationships between husbands and wives, parents and children, and friends and neighbors. Told through the eyes of three mothers -- Madeline, Celeste and Jane -- the series' narrative explores society's myths regarding perfection and its romanticization of marriage, sex, parenting and friendship. Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley star as the three prominent "mothers of Monterey."

First off you need to know that Season 2 has already started. However if you intend to watch this it’s critical that you binge the 1st season. Starting out in the 2nd season will only have you lost from the beginning. I can assure that this miniseries is far and wide one of the best HBO miniseries I have watch (i.e. note awards they received for season 1 and the critics and users high ratings.

For me this miniseries was an intensely addicting show. Plot line unfolds slowly but worth every second as you learn these dynamic characters and are on the edge of your Seat. I was completely sucked in on the first episode. I don't know why but I found this show completely and utterly mesmerizing, all the way down to the music and cinematography. Everyone involved in this from top to bottom hit it out of the park. Although there are only 7 episodes each on is packed full with tiny glimpse into each of their lives and the suspenseful ending!

Trust me this is one series you don’t want to miss!!
