Five Mafia families ruled New York with a bloody fist in the 1970s and '80s, until a group of federal agents tried the unthinkable: taking them down.

Given the times we live in today (COVID, Protesting, City take-overs) and all the rhetoric you hear on the NEWS, especially regarding New York. This was an interesting contrast to see how NY fought the Mob back in the 70’s and 80’s - Golden Age of Crime. You have to ask yourselves who’s really in control.

Not completely sure of the validity of the various information given, however there are people from all parts of the spectrum that get to speak their mind. Mob gangsters, prosecution attorneys, FBI-agents all explain their own world view during one of the most prominent times in US criminal history. Several anecdotes about bugging various locations contrast well with the families in control that accounts to large amounts of New York and the United States.

I enjoy to a great extent hearing stories about the mob and how they manage to continue for decades. This was an interesting look into the undercover of the FBI with the top 5 Mob Families controlling NYC!

Its a quick easy binge and I think you’ll be surprised with the information presented in this documentary.
