To protect an 8-year-old girl, a dangerous assassin reunites with her mother and her lethal associates to take down a ruthless crime syndicate and its army of henchmen.

Gunpowder Milkshake is a 2021 action thriller film directed by Navot Papushado, with a script co-written by Ehud Lavski and Papushado. The film's production was announced at the American Film Market in 2018. Casting announcements were made throughout 2019, starting with Gillan in January, and principal photography took place from June to August 2019 in Berlin.

Gunpowder Milkshake was released in the United States on July 14, 2021, by Netflix with a simultaneous limited theatrical release. It was released theatrically by StudioCanal in France on July 21, and is set to be released in Germany on September 2, 2021.

Just so you know what your about to get into……you’re about to watch a girl power version of “John Wick” with a side of “Kill Bill” and all the fix-ins! It’s rated R for violence and language, however violence is an understatement. This is one intense violent film. Great sound track (turn up the surround sound), photography and exquisite scenery.

The dialogue is snappy, performances are great and the actors are having fun. If you enjoyed Keanu Reeves checking into a hotel with an infinite amount of magic coins and using all sorts of code words for guns to avenge his dog, you can handle Karen Gillan doing the same with classic works of literature to protect a little girl.
