Let me say up front if some of these swear words offend you, this show is NOT for you. However If you are interested in a series of experts, coupled up with some comedians talking about the origins and history of the words……by all means spend some time watching these 6 short episodes.
In addition if you can ignore the fact that Nicholas Cage is the narrator, the informational is entertaining with a good selection of experts talking about a subject that is pretty taboo in many aspects of society.
Each episode demonstrates the evolution of swearing in film, tv and music, along with how it has influenced pop culture and people from plenty of different backgrounds whether they be male or female.
The show is not quite as funny as one might think. Each segment has its own humor, however hearing them swearing over and over can be a bit dull and you’ll begin to think - lets move on here!. Also there are some swear words they clearly left out, possibly setting up a second season?
Bottom line………it has some interesting historical facts that will interest you and binging this series can be done in short order……spend some time, who knows you may learn something you often wondered about….”You just never F*****G Know”
p.s. it goes without saying - no kids allowed!
