Seven young outcasts in Derry, Maine, are about to face their worst nightmare - an ancient, shape-shifting evil that emerges from the sewer every 27 years to prey on the town's children. Banding together over the course of one horrifying summer, the friends must overcome their own personal fears to battle the murderous, bloodthirsty clown known as Pennywise.

Principal photography began in the Riverdale neighborhood of Toronto on June 27, 2016, and ended on September 21, 2016.  It premiered in Los Angeles on September 5, 2017, and was theatrically released in the United States on September 8, 2017.  Upon release, the film set numerous box office records and grossed $700 million worldwide.  it is the highest-grossing horror film and the fourth-highest-grossing R-rated film (after the Deadpool films and The Matrix Reloaded), as well as the most profitable horror film. It received positive reviews, with critics praising the performances, direction, cinematography and musical score, with many calling it one of the best Stephen King adaptations.  A sequel, It: Chapter Two, is scheduled to be released on September 6, 2019.

If you were a fan of "Stranger Things part 1 & 2" you are gonna love this film.  The story line very similar between the two movies.   Even the music has similarity in some of the scenes right down to the kids on bicycles riding throughout the streets of this small town in Maine.  

I throughly enjoyed this movie and can say without a doubt bring your heart meds, this film is guaranteed to raise you BP several points....LOL

It's well put together and easy to follow just like Netflix's Original Series "Stranger Things".  If you love scary Stephen King movies you'll love this one!
