Movie 🎥 Review: “Long Shot”. Critics gave it a 84% the users an 71%. Rated: R with a running time of 2 hrs and 05 min with an IMDb of 7.2/10. Cast: Seth Rogen, Charlize Theron, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Andy Serkis, June Diane Raphael, Bob Odenkirk and Alexander Skarsgård.

Fred Flarsky is a gifted and free-spirited journalist who has a knack for getting into trouble. Charlotte Field is one of the most influential women in the world -- a smart, sophisticated and accomplished politician. When Fred unexpectedly runs into Charlotte, he soon realizes that she was his former baby sitter and childhood crush. When Charlotte decides to make a run for the presidency, she impulsively hires Fred as her speechwriter -- much to the dismay of her trusted advisers.

The film had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 9, 2019, and was released in United States on May 3, 2019, by Lionsgate. It received generally positive reviews from critics, with praise for the chemistry and performances of Rogen and Theron.

Well I have to say that is a comedic short cut to some surprising Political Commentary and is well balanced in fairness to all sides. I have to warn you though the movie starts off a bit slow but once the two characters come together it really shines! It doesn't take the same roads as most RomComs do and will surprise you and in some cases. It will have you asking yourself did I just see/hear that??.

They prove to be a charming underdog couple that you want to route for. The way they got together played true to real life. Believe it or not these two have chemistry and I really enjoyed watching them together.

So be prepared for this RomCom to be a little crass (even Seth said it was "dirty") but a whole plot point revolves around a pretty lewd act!. it was funny, full of human moments and real connections. Charlize was stunning. Good supporting cast with some stellar choices. Charlize was sold enough on the project to be one of the producers.

They will be talking about the crazy scenes in the movie for many years to cum (pun intended). Don’t let this one get by you because you will be left out in discussions when the begin to fly……
