Most of us remember when the original BLACK HAWK DOWN film came out. If you took the time to watch you will definitely want to see this followup as seen thru the eyes of the Army Rangers that were sent in to rescue the team from the crash site.

This series documents the real 1993 Battle of Mogadishu through firsthand accounts from U.S. soldiers and Somali civilians, detailing the mission to capture warlord Aidid and the downing of two helicopters.

What was very interesting about this series was you get testimonies from the Somalians as well as the Rangers soldiers. You will get testimonies from people that are either witnesses to what happened or are involved somehow.

We didn't go to occupy Somalia. The US came there because there was famine in the country and the UN was no longer able to handle it.

The US went through pure hell and lived to tell, while trying to capture the real evil dictator who kept stealing food for the starving people and killing those trying to help from the UN.
