Molly's Game

Movie 🎥 Review: "Molly's Game" today. Critics gave it a 81%, users an 87%.

Background: This is a true story about an Olympic class skier who after experiencing a serious accident on the slopes, eventually finds herself running the worlds most exclusive high stakes poker games.

Great ensemble of actors including Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba, Micheal Cera and Kevin Costner just to name a few.

The movie is fast passed, with voice-over narration that keeps you on your toes to pay attention as quickly as it's narrated.

Running time is 141 mins, but it certainly doesn't feel like it. The intensity in the film is over the top at times and keeps you wondering what's coming next. Then the movie gets even more intense. Remember this is based on a true story so there are times you won't believe the "balls" that Molly has to pull off the things she does.

I thought it was an excellent movie that had me on the edge of my seat to the very end.

Once again another contender for the Academy to evaluate for the 2018 Awards. If you plan to see it move quickly, it's been out since the 5th and is only playing a a couple theaters in town with just a few showings a day.
