Narcos

Netflix Users (binging again): Just finished "NARCOS". It has an IMDb rating of 8.9/10. For me it was a 10.0/10!

Background: This Netflix Original Series chronicles the rise of the cocaine trade in Colombia and the gripping real-life stories of drug kingpins of the late '80s.

I watched 3 seasons, 30 episodes (2015-2017) that detailed all the actions taken by law enforcement as they battle in the war on drugs. This was an amazingly detailed in your face look at the notorious and powerful figures that include drug lord Pablo Escobar (this guy was off the rails). As efforts are made to control cocaine, one of the world's most valuable commodities, the many entities involved -- legal, political, police, military and civilian -- find themselves in conflict.

This is a truly gripping show, one of the best I've seen this year. The characters and acting are done well and the storyline moves at a fast enough pace to get your adrenalin pumping through all the episodes.

I've watched many Netflix Originals and can safely say this is one of the best. Narcos doesn't disappoint with any aspect of the show. It's exciting and fast paced, but above all, it makes you want to keep coming back for more.

Be prepared for a "shoot'em up bang bang" on steroids. This series is captivating, dark, intense, addictive and I can't wait for season 4! Love the way they focus on the finer details, it's perfect.
