Fifteen years after the end of World War II, a team of top-secret Israeli agents travels to Argentina to track down SS officer Adolf Eichmann in 1960, the Nazi officer who masterminded the transportation logistics that brought millions of innocent Jews to their deaths in concentration camps. Hoping to sneak him out of the country to stand trial, agent Peter Malkin soon finds himself playing a deadly game of cat and mouse with the notorious war criminal.
Based on the true story, various source materials, including Eichmann in My Hands, a memoir by Israeli officer Peter Malkin, provided the basis for the story. Photography began in Argentina in October 2017. The film was released in the United States on August 29, 2018 and received mixed reviews from the critics.
This movie drags on way to slow with only a few moments of tense excitement, and that doesn't occur till have way through the 2 hour film. It's very sad yet very interesting to hear about the atrocities that this individual was accountable for. I'm always interested in reading or watching documentaries about WWII.
This film just missed the mark in being a great film because of the slow drawn out story line.
