I’ll admit that at first I was skeptical to watch this mini-series. You’ll find yourself thinking in the first episode its a little slow or “icky”. I’m so glad that I stuck with it because its so good that we binged the hell out of it. Couldn’t get enough and couldn’t wait for the next episode. Definitely hooked big time!
Great soundtrack with the collection of tunes from the 70's and 80's. Elizabeth Olsen is exceptional in her riveting portrayal of Candy Montgomery. For that matter every actor in this series was amazing.
The series, which revolves around what occurred before and after a certain true-life incident, is both compelling and flows well.
I found this to be a great way to watch a true life crime drama. MAX comes thru again big time!
Candy is a quiet housewife who, overnight, decides to have an affair with her neighbour. But the relationship soon spirals out of control when her lover's wife is found dead and all suspicion falls on her.
