Cary Elwes, Jake Busey, and Francesca Reale appear in recurring roles.

Stranger Things 3 is everything you would hope it would be. A powerful, funny, frightening return to Hawkins, Indiana and our quirky cast of misfits and outcasts. Once again confronted by an impossible foe, the children (and grownups) of this middle-American town must band together against all odds.

The third season of the American science fiction-horror web television series Stranger Things, titled onscreen as Stranger Things 3, premiered on Netflix's web streaming service starting on July 4, 2019. The series was created by the Duffer Brothers, who are also executive producers along with Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and Iain Paterson.

It's 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer's heating up. School's out, there's a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the brink of adulthood. Romance blossoms and complicates the group's dynamic, and they'll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart.

Meanwhile, danger looms. When the town's threatened by enemies old and new, Eleven and her friends are reminded that evil never ends; it evolves. Now they'll have to band together to survive, and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear.

Binged watched all 8 episodes yesterday (July 4 2019). If you are a fan and have watched seasons 1 & 2, you’re gonna love this Season 3. I’ve always thought that Stranger Things was a mix between: The X-Files, Twilight Zone, and the Goonies, well now, add Fast Times At Ridgemont High to the list! For me I truly believe that this story is so well written and the cast is excellent!. The creators know how to create: humor and suspense along with terror to round out (in my opinion) the best season of Stranger Things yet! Also, the story is left wide open for a fourth season!.

They do an amazing job of taking into consideration that the characters are much older and their issues as young adults start to take on very new and different consequences. The series does an amazing job of bringing this to light along with the camaraderie that makes these group of young adults what they are and have been throughout all the seasons.

I can tell you this……once I started watching I couldn’t stop and burned through 8 (hour +) episodes to the end. It was 02:30 when I finished and it took me some time to wind down from the adrenalin rush before I could fall asleep.
