If you’ve been looking for an action packed PG 13 film to share with your children on “Family Night”…..well you’ve found it. Ryan Reynolds has amazing chemistry with his 12 year old self with an endearing element that will warm your hearts.
The film is a lot of fun. While there is a sense of danger it isn't too intense for younger viewers. There’s plenty action impressively varied with dogfighting planes, fights with futuristic weapons and even a chase through the woods that was clearly inspired by 'Return of the Jedi'. As well as action there are some good laughs; mostly thanks to Adam's propensity to talk a lot... often getting him in trouble.
I definitely recommend this movie for all ages - it’s a pure blockbuster with beautiful family drama.
