The Post
Movie 🎥 Review: "The Post". Critics gave it an 88%, users an 67%.
Back in 1968 fresh out of high school I went to enlist in the Navy because I was about to be drafted into the army to go to Vietnam. As fate would have it I was not inducted due to a heart murmur and consequently went into the work force. I say all that because after watching this movie, I who at one time thought it was the "right" thing to do could have easily been one of the 58,000+ casualties. If you see the movie you'll understand why I wrote this part!
This movie is an expertly-crafted film that through the courageous owner and editor for the Post risks their business and careers to bring the truth that we all know far too well about the reason why we stayed in that war.
The all star ensemble cast will keep you intensely glued to their every word and action. It's the kind of movie that makes you want to stand up and applaud their tenacity against the Government/US President to tell the truth to those who are governed.
p.s. If any of you saw "Spotlight" that received the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2015 ........this film is very much like that one......only on steroids.
Thoroughly loved every minute of the movie and for the life of me can't understand the low percentage the users gave it.
