I have been a fan of the Planet of the Apes movies ever since they started back in 1968. I've seen ever one of the movies since. I can honestly say that the third in the trilogy has FINALLY bridged the gap of understanding from the very first movie till now.

The movie brings you in a realm that rivals that very famous scene when Taylor (Charlton Heston) came across the 1/2 buried Statue of Liberty.

You will finally understand the sequence of events that answers all the questions from the very first two movies. You'll see what caused man not to be able to speak and what was behind the history that was kept on the scared scrolls that the apes protected so closely.

Besides Caesar, two very familiar characters from the first movie are introduced, showing you how they came to be.

Truly the best of the series of ape movies that provides its viewers a morally thoughtful and entertaining movie.

So if you are a Planet of the Apes fan and are well versed in the series of ape movies you finally get all those answers to the questions you've had for the last 49 years.
