I was very interested in seeing this movie for the simple reason that I love Beatle music and grew up with all my young life. At the age of 13 my mother took me to Miami airport back in 1964 to see them get off the plane…..something I will never forget!
The film has a very interesting story line. I will admit there were times where the film was kind of clunky (hence the critics 61%), but all in all I did enjoy it very much. Even if you didn't grow up with The Beatles music you should have a great appreciation for this film. Whoever came up with the idea is a genius. Music was everything I thought it would be. It brought back so many memories for me as I sat thru the film. The did the music with new and fun arrangements that pay so much honor to the originals. And with very interesting twists, this movie does have a simple, but touching moral.
