A charming yet awkward crush becomes something even more sinister when the writer becomes the manager's obsession. Using social media and the internet, he uses every tool at his disposal to become close to her, even going so far as to remove any obstacle --including people -- that stands in his way of getting to her.

You is an American psychological thriller television series developed by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble. Produced by Warner Horizon Television, in association with Alloy Entertainment and A&E Studios, the first season is based on the eponymous 2014 novel by Caroline Kepnes and follows Joe Goldberg, a New York bookstore manager.

The series premiered on Lifetime on September 9, 2018, in the United States, and on Netflix, internationally, on December 26, 2018. The series attracted a limited audience on Lifetime before becoming a huge and critical success for Netflix, with over 40 million viewers, having streamed the first season after its debut on the streaming service. Lifetime announced that You had been renewed for a second season based on Kepnes' follow-up novel Hidden Bodies, on July 26, 2018, ahead of the series premiere. On December 3, 2018, it was announced that the series would move to Netflix as a "Netflix Original" title, ahead of the premiere of the second season.

Watched the first episode (pilot) and was hooked immediately. The shows has a hint of "Murder, She Wrote" and "Dexter" and is so good. The acting is spot on from all characters while Penn Badgley is outstanding. Penn's performance of a dual personality/mannerisms is riveting, his characters need is continually drawing audiences in just to leave you with a question only answered by paying close attention to details.

This is the kind of series that you just have to go from episode 1 to 10 as soon as you can……..you can’t put it down. I was very impressed by the acting and the quality of the filming and story line.

Can’t wait for Season 2…..Check out the trailer and see if it doesn’t intrigue you.
