High school senior Lily and her three best friends live in a haze of texts, posts, selfies and chats -- just like the rest of the world. Their small town gets turned upside down when an anonymous hacker starts to reveal personal messages and secrets of thousands of people. As anger erupts into full-blown violence, the four girls soon find themselves in a fight for their lives against an armed mob.

The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 21, 2018 and was released in the United States on September 21, 2018, and was released in the UK on September 23, 2018. It received mixed reviews from critics, who praised "frenetic and visually stylish" action but knocked the thinly-written characters.

I’m going to cut right to the chase with this one……….Think of this movie as Mean Girls meets The Purge. Sounds strange, but it's completely worth it. Highly original and eerily perfect for the moment in time.

Had no idea what I was getting into, however after seeing it I was glad I went. Had a great take on current social media culture that felt real and filmed from a very tech savvy standpoint.

Heads up…..this has strong violence and is VERY graphic. If you have a squeamish stomach, you may think twice about seeing this. The film does strongly play to the younger generation, but if you love movies and not afraid to see one that is very much out-of-the-box…….give a look……just remember I warned you!
