Generally I would not have chosen this film to see……….however it had me riveted trying to work out the possible ending scenario. The movie slowly builds through love, pain, betrayal, and loss, and eventually ends on white-knuckle tension that is as enthralling as it is shocking. Jessie Buckley is an astounding actor. You won’t be able to take your eyes off of her. She is more than able to take the corruption of innocence in the movie to a whole other level.
BEAST is one of those independent movies that 99.9% of the population will miss out on and it's a shame because this truly ins a work of art. I have an addiction to foreign films due to the fact that their film making is so different than those of the US. It’s great to see “difference” every now and then…..keeps you grounded in the art of film making!
