GENERATION KILL

We all watched on TV as we invaded Iraq looking for WMD’s. This series will chronicle the same war only thru the eyes of the 1st Recon Marines. Talk about a fresh new look…..DAMN!

The individual who needs his head examined is the man responsible for taking arguably the first damn independent recon operators of any military in the world, and dropping us in Humvee platoons to lead a parade of P.O.G.’s officers, and heavily-armed, subhuman morons, across the Mesopotamia.
— Shows Lead Actor

Once again I had no idea what I was about to watch till it started. From the get-go I was hooked and each and every episode drew me in more and more.

For any of you that spent time in the Marine Corps and fought overseas wil be able to relate big time to this series,

They do a great job of covering the banter among low ranks, games played to endure, to terrible living conditions, along with weapons jamming and MRE's, this series really has it all.

Don’t get caught up on the embedded reporter role. This series is primarily shot from the grunts perspective. For me this was a blessing, because it was filled with rhetoric to make you laugh out loud, to questioning the stupidity they had to endure from the commanding officers that were just looking for accommodations and medals - sad but true!

I can honestly say I’ve not seen a war movie like this. What stood out the most to me was the the ensemble of actors. You will NOT believe you are watching actors.

The performances and the direction in this production are flawless. I've never seen a series that felt as real as this.

NOTE: Be sure and watch the trailer below - it will hook you!
