For all you Western fans this is one of my all time favorites. It’s a cinematic triumph for director Kevin Costner. One might say it’s slow moving, however, the pace allows the viewer to relish the scenery for which Costner as well as Redford are well known. The sound track is spot on. This film definitely holds one's interest right down to the last minute.
The action sequences are great topped off by an amazing well choreographed gun battle that will stay with you after watching.
Open Range is a must-see for a fan of the genre and a viewing experience one will not regret.
