The Old Guard is a 2020 American superhero film directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood and written by Greg Rucka, based on his comic book of the same name. The Old Guard was released on July 10, 2020, on Netflix. It received generally positive reviews from critics, with praise for the action sequences.

I had no clue what I was in for when I started watching this. Right off the bat I was intrigued with what I was seeing and was hooked to see how this played out. It’s actually a great action movie with tons of gun/knife fighting! Charlize Theron is a definite BAD ASS!

The story will interest you in a way you probably haven’t seen in a movie lately. Good potential for a sequel, and I hope they make them. My main complaint is the music in the movie. For me it just doesn’t fit…….

All in all worth time time if you are looking for a Netflix Movie to while away your quarantine time.
