The Shape of Water

Movie 🎥 Review: "The Shape of Water". Critics gave it a 90%, users an 80%.

Background: Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is a mute cleaning lady in a hidden, high-security government laboratory in 1962 Baltimore. Her life changes forever when she discovers the lab's classified secret. She develops a bond with the creature and soon learns the survival fate of the creature lies in her hands.

Cast with the likes of Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins and Octavia Spencer just to name a few pulled off one of the most out there science fiction love stories I've seen in a while.

This movie has all the elements from a "Beauty and the Beast" film with an amazing twist of it's own. Sally takes everything to an imposing, yet "intimate" new level in this movie.

It's no secret that this movie is getting quite an Oscar buzz with many nominations.

I can honestly say I was very surprised with this movie, how it played out and how unique a story line it was.

Be prepared for some shocking scenes that will leave you thinking "did we really just see that".....LOL
