The untold story exploring the true life details leading up to and chronicling the 1993 standoff between the FBI, ATF and David Koresh's spiritual sect, The Branch Davidians.

WACO is an American television miniseries, developed by John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle, that premiered on January 24, 2018, on Paramount Network. The six-episode series documents the 1993 standoff between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas.

I have to admit I spent many hours glued to the TV back in ‘93 watching everything I could about the breaking story. I can also assure you that it was definitely bias toward the FBI/ATF. This miniseries gives way more details from both sides of the story.

Watching this was Deja-Vu all over again for me. I was hooked from the start and was hanging on every word throughout the series. With a complex and still controversial real life event like the standoff and assault of the Branch Davidian compound, it’s vital that the producers respect history. After watching all 6 episodes it’s apparent that the producers have worked very hard to portray an historically fair and accurate narrative.

Nonetheless for those of you that only heard about it this would be a great history lesson. And for those of you that lived it, here’s a chance to get caught up on many more details that you probably were not privy to back in ‘93. Anyway you look at it I recommend that you spend the time……you won’t regret it!
