Extraction is a 2020 American action thriller film directed by Sam Hargrave and screenplay by Joe Russo, based on the comic Ciudad by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Fernando Leon Gonzalez, and Eric Skillman. The film was released on April 24, 2020, by Netflix. It received mixed reviews from critics, who praised Hemsworth's performance and the stunt work.

After doing some checking the low ratings I found they were primarily driven by many who felt that India wasn’t represented properly in the film. I didn’t watch this to see India represented I watched it for the “shoot’em up bang bang” that it is…..duh!

After the 20 min mark of the film all hell breaks loose and there isn’t a dull moment to the very end. Talk about action, this was one of wildest action films I’ve seen in a while. Move over for Hemsworth’s BAD ASS character. Excellent close quarter combats, however improvement on the plot would have been nice.

This film is NOT for the faint of heart, plenty of in your face killing. I loved it! Recommended if you're stuck in quarantine and looking for something to jack up your resting heart rate, watch this.
