The Cookie Jar Cafe is in Dunlap TN on one of the most beautiful farms in the Sequatchie Valley.

Here you can experience what life in the country is all about. Country cooking is all about flavor and freshness, which they take pride in both.

They also have some of the best home made desserts in the Valley. They carry a range of desserts each day, from Coconut Cream Pie, to German Chocolate Cake, including an array of phenomenal cup cakes!

This restaurant sits on an operational dairy farm that's been in the family for over 150 years!. They also have a petting zoo for customers to enjoy! (maybe make the wait time not seem so long!). Yes you NEED to make reservations for weekend dinners (preferably the day before you go) or you could wait an easy 2+ hours. Its truly a popular place on the weekends (can’t tell by the photos)…..I took these @ 3:00pm, the place starts filling up around 5:00pm.

They have a hardy menu with very reasonable pricing. So if you want to take a short drive and have a great meal you should give this restaurant a try.
